Tips For a Wine Tasting

It starts out by what to wear to a wine tasting (and this doesn’t only concern the ladys). Don’t try to come too dressy. You have to feel comfortable to be able to enjoy the Wine tasting. But being dressed too casual also doesn’t serve the purpose any better either. Try to find a good mixture between the two.

You should avoid wearing intense perfume or deodorant. Strong smells only deflect the nose from the aroma of the wine. Also sharp mint chewing gums aren’t really recommendable. One or the other might know the feeling taking a sip of wine after having brushed your teeth. Everybody knows how funny the first sips taste. The You can resort to mild perfumes or toothpastes(maybe something witha citrus scent).

During the wine tasting smoking is an absolute taboo. The flavor nerves suffer under the smoke. Those smokers can normally smoke outside during the breaks.

Before or during a wine tasting you also should avoid large meals. Generally the rule is not pretty things that are too weak, too sharp because they affect the flavor nerves too much.

To neutralize the flavor in between you have to drink water and eat “neutral” bread. This is a mandatory to be able to experience the difference in taste better.

Respecting these tips should help you have an enjoyable and professional wine tasting. Not respecting these tips will probably have a lot of fun with the wine anyway because having a class with a few friends and a nice meal is to join most of the time anyway.
